Election Day May 4.
The NEISD School Board Election is one of the most consequential elections of the year.
School Board elections are traditionally nonpartisan. Right wing activists have changed all that. NEISD has good candidates for each seat on the board. The district has an equal number of activists who are determined to reshape the educational system to support their radical views on VOUCHERS, BOOK BANS and an array of GENDER ISSUES.

Who We Are
We're your neighbors. We come from many backgrounds and professions--teachers, health care workers, military, civil service, homemakers, artists, union members, and more. A lot of us have lived in San Antonio for decades. Many of us have ventured elsewhere and eventually called San Antonio home. We've seen the best of times and the worst of times. Whatever our backgrounds may be, we know this: Community matters. When you meet and talk openly with people, you build respect and trust. When you want to make things better, you do that by figuring out what we can do together and how we can engage more people.
