In the coming months, people who don't believe in democracy or your rights will expect you to forego your power and just get over it. They will dismiss you and tell you everything is just fine. Don't forget who you are. You are the product of the first nation based not on tribe or race or monarchy or religion, but based on the idea that we are all equal. You have in your DNA the bold ideals of free people whose forbears struggled and fought and died, not just for the idea of democracy but for a true love and commitment to each other. There are people who want to destroy that love and commitment and make us hate and distrust each other. But we will build a community that resists that effort every day and in every way, and we will win.

The mission of NEBCD is to encourage an educated electorate and get out the vote.
