Be a Poll Watcher
Support a Candidate or a Cause at the Polls
Poll Watcher - A person appointed to observe the conduct of an election on behalf of: a candidate, a political party, or the proponents or opponents of a measure (specific-purpose political action committees).
Poll watchers observe inside the 100 foot boundary but CANNOT interact with the voters.
Contact the Bexar County Democratic Party or other group engaged in campaigning for an election to volunteer to be a Poll Watcher.
Online Poll Watcher Training is available from the Office of the Secretary of State of Texas.
Bexar County Democratic Party fields Poll Greeters who provide a more informal function greeting voters and answering questions, but are not affiliated with a specific campaign or Election Protection organizations. They can interact with voters (electioneer) 100 feet outside of the polling location.
