Assure Elections are Conducted Fairly
Nonpartisan Election Judges and Clerks have a direct hand in ensuring that the election is conducted fairly and according to the rules.
Election judges are trained, appointed and sworn in by the Bexar County Elections Office to oversee a polling station, answer questions and resolve disputes.
Election Clerks are trained, appointed and sworn in by the Bexar County Elections Office to check voter identification, sign in voters at the polling station, and assist the Election Judge and voters in other ways.
These are temporary, paid positions.
There is an acute need for election judges and clerks.
The Elections Department needs more Spanish speakers for these jobs.
